Very good news has reached our editorial office. We received an e-mail from the organisers of the wreck festival, who informed us about another success of the event they are organising!

As some of you may remember, the Wreck Festival was an opportunity to collect and donate money for the Lodz Hospice for Children. Everyone who showed their support and came to the Technical University of Łódź contributed to the purchase of an oxygen concentrator for one of the children. It is even more important that this child has been waiting for a concentrator for a long time.

And this is what we can find on the hospice website:

“We would like to thank the participants and organisers of the 3rd Wreck Diving Festival for organising the charity auction for the Association’s charges – Lodz Hospice for Children. Thanks to your commitment we managed to collect the amount of 2 280 pln (…) We are very pleased that also this time we could appear among your guests. Thank you for your help and care for our charges.

As you can see, our meeting on 25 February in Łódź had many positive effects. We can all be proud of ourselves, because in addition to gaining knowledge on interesting topics and having fun, we managed to help those who really need it.
