IV National Seminar of Underwater Research

As March 2022 draws to a close, the 4th National Seminar on Scientific Underwater Research will take place from 25-27.

The organisers have announced that this year’s seminar will be devoted to the subject of “Perspectives for the development of the environmental diver in Poland”. All those interested in the topic and the participation are invited to the popular Nemo centre in Kulka on the date mentioned above.

Seminar

We invite you to the 4th National Seminar of Scientific Underwater Research. This year’s theme is “Perspectives for the development of an ecological diver in Poland”. – reads the official announcement.

The cost of the seminar is 380 PLN. The seminar fee includes accommodation, full board according to the programme and conference materials. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation in the seminar. The organisers have also foreseen additional attractions in the free time.

9.20 – 9.40 – Selected benthic organisms possible to identify underwater; Dawid Dąbrowski
9.40 – 10.00 – Underwater equipment used in research on underwater landscapes; Piotr Dynowski
10.00 – 10.20 – Coffee break
10.20 – 10.40 – Divers’ self-education in ecology and geography; Zbigniew Kwiatkowski
10.40 – 11.00 – Participation of qualified divers in the combat of alien species; Łukasz Bryl
11.40 – 12.20 – What does mass occurrence of algae in lakes and rivers indicate? Workshop on the identification of freshwater macroalgae; Maciej Gąbka, Mateusz Draga

Marcin’s journey with diving has been an adventure. Starting as a recreational diver, he soon found himself drawn to the fascinating stories and mysteries of Baltic wrecks. After gaining experience, Marcin decided to go beyond just leisurely exploration and took his training up a notch by completing the TMX course, allowing him to explore even deeper and uncover the secrets of inaccessible places. His next challenge has been cave diving, where he is honing his skills to become a certified diver. Not content to simply take in the breathtaking beauty of underwater life, Marcin has also embraced underwater photography since 2018, capturing stunning shots that bring these worlds alive for those who are unable to experience them first-hand. Marcin’s passion for the underwater has taken him far and is sure to continue doing so as he dives into new depths and captures breathtaking images.
