Before heading to the Czech Republic to take part in the Techmeeting there, a limited Divers24 team attended the Boot Düsseldorf trade show. The event is the benchmark for all others in Europe and for years has been the destination of all major brands in the industry who want to showcase their products on the international market.
One of the most interesting topics that emerged during this year’s Boot is the cooperation betweenOMS, No Gravity, BTS Europe and DUI. The American wingsuit manufacturer will move its production to Poland and use the facilities of No Gravity, while the suits of the latter brand will be distributed by BTS Europe. In the coming season we will see what effects this will have for all parties involved.
One cannot fail to notice that more and more Polish manufacturers are attracting to Düsseldorf. Apart from the already mentioned No Gravity brand, there were also representatives of Santi Diving, Tecline or Xdeep as well as Yellow Diving and Kwark. The most interesting product presented by the above mentioned companies was for sure the premiere of a new Santi suit – E.motion Plus and a new Tecline R2Ice automatic.

};
.
Of the novelties worth noting and taking a closer look at, we should certainly mention Ibubble. It is the first wireless drone that follows us underwater and films our every move and immediate surroundings.
The long-announced Scuba Capsule has also gone on sale. Owners of the iPhone 5 and 6 (soon to be 7) series can, for a price of 980 euros, get a range of new features for their smartphone that will come in handy underwater.
As usual, there was no shortage of representatives from Seashepherd, which sends its representatives to all the big water and diving events around the world. Apart from buying gadgets and thus supporting the organisation’s noble mission, you can learn about their latest achievements and the overall mission that the “sea shepherds” set for themselves.
Unfortunately, the general impression for those interested in novelties in diving equipment is not the best. Taking into account “our” industry, there were definitely more stands with the offer of travel agencies than those that could bring us closer to the offer of diving equipment manufacturers.
