After watching a video of the record for the longest distance covered on one breath in a cave, I couldn’t sleep well. Inspired by Dan Burton’s underwater work, I started browsing through more freediver videos until I came across a real gem.

The film found on the profile of the famous Herbert Nitsche, unlike other productions documenting freedivers, does not show the breaking of another record. Instead, the author focused on showing how close to the natural environment a free diver is. At times you get the impression that Herbert is levitating in outer space, while at other times you watch him swimming calmly with a school of fish as if he were part of the herd.
