The world’s most experienced and recognisable divers have decided to create a new, unique video about the sidemount configuration. During the video, Jill Heinerth and Jeff Loflin introduce the audience to the basics and secrets of sidemount harness diving. The whole thing is available as a DVD, stream to watch on the web or download to your disk.

The material touches, among other things, on such issues as the choice of equipment and configuration, as well as techniques and skills used in sidemount diving. The whole material has the character of an interesting guide, thanks to which every diver, even a beginner, will gain a much broader picture of diving in this configuration.

From amateur to professional in recreational, cave or wreck diving. Regardless of what attracts you most underwater, you’ll find tips and tools in this video to improve your own skills. The film was shot around the world and featured some of the world’s leading divers using sidemount configurations. These include Nick Hollis, Brian Kakuk, Jakub Rehacek and many others.

“We wanted the video to be accessible to as many divers as possible and so everyone can choose how they want to view it,” said producer Robert McClellan. “I don’t know if anyone before us has created something similar in the training field, but Jill and Jeff decided to make it a very multimedia experience. Divers can watch the film on their laptops, PCs, ipods, ipads, smartphones or if they wish, from the physical DVD media that is also available. We wanted everyone to have the choice of the most appropriate form of media for them.”
