There are still echoes of the great record with which Krzysztof Starnawski closes the year. An experienced diver from Warsaw, he made a dive to the depth of 283m using a rebreather of his own design.

The record-breaking took place in preparation for another cave exploration and took place in Dahab, one of the favourite destinations for technical divers.

We have already presented you a video from the camera Krzysiek used during his dive, but this time you can feel the climate of Egypt in winter and see a lot of great photos taken by Irena Stangierska, one of the participants of the dualrebreather project.

We also remind you about the possibility of voting for the “Diving event of the year 2011” in our poll. So far, the feat of Krzysztof Starnawski, definitely leads in this race.
