Unfortunately for all those who intended to spend the long May weekend diving in the Baltic Sea, we have bad news. Diving plans for this time will not come to fruition, mainly due to the weather, or other factors, which are inevitable.

In the period from 30 April to 3 May, in the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Gdańsk it will be 4-5 degrees on the Beaufort scale. In connection with this, diving centres, which planned sailing to the high sea, postpone their undertakings to another date, also wreck expeditions to the Gulf of Gdańsk are uncertain. Those who planned to go to the wrecks of the Słupsk shoal with the “Nitrox” vessel will not be able to go to sea. Due to the protracted repairs, her departure to sea has also been cancelled.

There is still some time left to reorganise your plans, so we recommend not to give up diving, but to change the place. A trip to lakes and quarries all over Poland will certainly be a good plan for those few free days.
