According to the information provided in the letter, despite the restrictions that emerged due to the coronavirus pandemic, a significant part of the planned work and modernisation has been completed at the “Excavators”, and the rest of the plans are currently being implemented. As a result, the standard on offer has been raised on many levels, along with the comfort of using the base.
Among the works carried out are the completion of some shelters and equipping them with benches and tables to meet the needs of divers, the provision of a shelter in the depths of the property and new parking spaces, the purchase of two new and very efficient compressors to ensure the high quality of the gases used, and the replacement of the lighting on the base with brighter and more efficient ones.
However, that is not all. Plans to be implemented in the near future were also presented. According to the announcements included in the letter, there will be, among others, a training pool for students (to be opened in mid-March 2021), a training room available free of charge and heated, and three more training platforms located at the bottom of the basin.
We are also working on making the bottom of the reservoir more attractive, on new markings and on creating a map of the bottom of the reservoir. There will also be three new traps – stairs to make exiting the water easier and more comfortable. In April we will introduce the possibility of accommodation in two large, spacious and heated Dutch Cottages (about 8-10 beds in each – 12m cottage) and a grassy area for camping and tents will be created in the depths of the property – we read on the official website of Via Sport Diving Marina “Koparki”.
Unfortunately, these and many other changes also involve changes to the fee regime. Among the most significant increases we mention two, which came into effect from 1 March 2021. These are the price for entering the base now, which will be raised to 50 PLN, and the price for beating the cylinder, which will now be 2 PLN per litre of air.
There are many more changes and you can find them all on official website Via Sport Diving Marina “Koparki”.
