Today, we publish another sensational film, whose protagonist is Guillaume Nery. The Frenchman, known for his love of the “free fall” competition, this time went to the bottom of the deepest pool in the world – Nemo33 in Belgium.
Designed by John Bernaerts and inaugurated in 2004, the facility holds 2 500 000l of water. Interestingly, the water is not chlorinated but spring fed and the temperature is 30°C. As the name Nemo333 suggests, the pool is 33m deep.
Nery is a multiple world record holder (2002. – 87m in Alpes-Maritimes, 2004. 96m – Saint-Leu, la Réunion and 109 – Nice), but all records were taken away from him by incredible rivals. The current one belongs to Herbert Nitsch and is 124m.
