Amazing underwater photographer Becky Kagan Schott – Diving Talks 2023 speakers

Becky Kagan Schott

Becky is originally from the United States and is a five-time winner of the prestigious Emmy Award. As a filmmaker and underwater photographer, she has contributed to productions of major TV stations. She is also the co-owner of Liquid Productions, a film studio that specializes in capturing footage in extreme underwater environments including caves, under ice and deep wrecks.

The projects she has been involved in over the years have allowed her to travel all over the world. From the Arctic to Antarctica and many other amazing places, where she has earned a reputation as a great professional who can take high-quality photos in challenging environments.

Her greatest passion is shooting photos of shipwrecks in the Great Lakes of North America. Her work combines an artistic style with moving stories of tragedy, mystery and survival to spark the imagination of her audience.

Becky Kagan Schott is always pushing her creative limits and keeps trying new techniques. Wanting to capture the beauty of the underwater world, she is developing and introducing new elements into her work all the time. Among them are photogrammetry and making 3D models of wrecks. It allows her to present what is hidden underwater to other divers and non-divers.

She has collaborated with many magazines around the world, and her photos have been used in books, advertisements and museum displays. Becky Kagan Schott has also presented a fraction of her talents in Polish edition of the DIVERS24 magazine.
