Dive Against Debris

This event is no ordinary dive; instead, it’s a Dive Against Debris. Guided by professionals from local PADI dive centers and marine experts from HEPCA, you’ll be diving into the sparkling waters of the Red Sea. As you marvel at the vibrant marine life around you, you’ll also be helping to clean up and preserve their home.

Padi Aware week

Participation in this event not only allows you to explore the underwater wonders of the Red Sea but also enables you to make a tangible difference in the fight against marine pollution. It’s an opportunity to become part of the solution and inspire others to follow suit.

The event also provides a fantastic platform to connect with your local dive community. Share stories, experiences, and the shared passion for preserving the beauty beneath our oceans’ surface.

And that’s not all! Participants will be treated to some fantastic giveaways, including stylish hats, T-shirts, and eco-friendly metal water bottles.

PADI AWARE Week

Is a global event which spans over seven days and is dedicated to promoting marine conservation. This initiative is organized by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Project AWARE, a nonprofit organization that mobilizes divers around the world for ocean protection.

The focus of PADI AWARE Week is to engage scuba divers in activities that contribute to protecting and preserving the marine environment. These activities include citizen science, marine debris removal, and shark conservation among others. The event encourages divers to lead or participate in conservation activities and courses, highlighting the importance of local action for global impact.

During this week, divers are encouraged to connect with their local PADI Resort and Dive Center and join PADI AWARE in their efforts towards ocean conservation. Despite the event being only one week a year, it aims to educate participants about the ongoing threats to our oceans, local waterways, and marine life, inspiring them to make every week an AWARE week.

PADI AWARE Week for 2023 is scheduled to take place from September 16th to 24th. The event is a gateway into ocean conservation and invites everyone to help turn the tide and advocate for a healthy ocean, one dive at a time12345.
