A month and a half has passed since the Baltic Technical Divers Conference – BalticTech 2010, a month and a half has already passed, but its echoes are not quiet. We are talking about the exhibition of works from the photo competition – Grand Prix Photo BalticTech. For all those who did not have a chance to look at the works submitted to the competition, or would like to see them again, the organizers have created such an opportunity.

Until 7/01/2011, the competition works can be viewed at the City Hall in Gdynia, and then in Gdańsk at C.H. Manhattan, where the exhibition will be moved.

Among the Grand Prix winners was Alex Dawson – photographer and graphic designer, who began his adventure with diving and photography in Stockholm in 1993. He takes his pictures with a Nikon F90X camera using Sea & Sea and Subtronic housing.

Among the prize-winners, Leszek Legat once again made his presence felt. A member of the thick Baltic Explorers, who just like last year has won second place. Leszek, by day, is a civil engineer and project manager. He has been diving for sixteen years, and dealing with underwater photography since 2007. To capture the underwater world from his perspective, he uses a Canon 300D camera with a 10-22mm lens packed in a Sea & Sea housing, using Inon and Ikalite lamps. His phenomenal photos can be admired at www.balticexplorers.pl.

We warmly recommend this unique and high quality exhibition to all deep-sea enthusiasts.
