On 28-29 January 2012, world-famous divers and scientists will visit Sweden. The Tech Diving 2012 technical diving seminar will be held there on the specified date. The meeting is organised by the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH DK) in Stockholm.
This will be the fourth edition of the meeting of technical divers, held every 6 years. The previous editions took place in 1994, 2000 and 2006 and the attendance at the previous Diving Tech showed how great the demand for this type of event is. Bearing in mind the success of the previous event, the organisers intend to organise the event at the highest level this time as well.
Six years is a long time, especially in the context of a rapidly developing field such as technical diving, so everyone is expecting very interesting presentations and many interesting topics.
Guests will include Dr. David Doolettle, cave diver and scientist at the U.S. Navy Experimental Diving Unit, Jill Heinerth, cave diver and filmmaker, Simon Mitchell, wreck diver and scientist from Australia, Jim Kennard, wreck diver and wreck explorer in the U.S. Great Lakes, and many other renowned people in the international technical diving community.
The pre-sale of tickets has already started. A two-day pass, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon snack will cost €160. The number of tickets is limited!
