Underwater hotel to be built in the Maldives

Water Discus Hotel is entering the implementation phase! We already described the project behind this name in May last year -. “The world’s first underwater hotel”. The facility, commissioned by Ridgewood Hotels, will be built by Polish company Deep Ocean Technology.

After lengthy negotiations, all parties have concluded an agreement that will allow advanced design work to begin. The hotel will be built in the Maldives, at the ZEN resort, located on the island of Kuredhivaru.

The structure will be the next stage in the development of the tourist infrastructure and will undoubtedly become a magnet for tourists from all over the world. What is most unusual about the construction is that part of the building will be located under the surface of the beautiful waters of Noonu Atoll.
