Two divers die in Mexican cenotes

Two German cave divers have died while diving at the Gran Cenote Kalimba in Tulum. The incident occurred last Wednesday as reported by media from Mexico.

According to information available, the two went diving in the Gran Cenote Kalimba around midday and were due to return to the surface at around 3 p.m. When they did not turn up, divers from the rescue team were immediately alerted.

Johan Saksson, Kim Davidson and Jeff Clark led the search for two missing men. Their bodies were found and speculation of drowning was confirmed.
