2 Spoerts Film Festival 360⁰ has already passed into history – it is time for a summary. The event took place between 30.XI-9.XII in three Polish cities: Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. During 84 screenings in three cinemas, 25 documentaries on extreme sports, outdoor and ecology were presented.
The screenings were accompanied by meetings with invited guests, which took place in the festival clubs. There were 29 such meetings, and among the invited guests were: Leszek Cichy, Marek Kamiński, Krzysztof Starnawski, Elżbieta Benducka, Marcin Chochorowski, Ola Sulkiewicz, Dominik “Honzo” Graczyk and Rafał Szaniawski, Mateusz Malina, Bartosz Morawiec, Dr Paweł Skawiński and Filip Zięba from the Tatra National Park, Piotr Kuryło, Katarzyna Guzek from Greenpeace, Tomasz Smokowski, Grzegorz Milko and Rafał Nahorny from Canal+ sports editors, Marek Kłosowicz and Wojciech Słota, representatives of the Warsaw, Krakow and Wrocław Zoo, Mariusz Kalista and Piotr Betlej, and representatives of American football teams: Warsaw Eagles, Warsaw Sirens, Devils Wrocław.
Also in the festival clubs amateur films devoted to diving and short films submitted to the competition organised as part of the festival were presented. Sponsors of the competition prizes were GoPro, Ecocar and Canal+. The GoPro Extreme Sports award went to Andrzej Drzymulski’s film Aday with KTM 690 Duke – the winner received a GoPro HD Hero camera with accessories. The editors of Canal+ awarded their prize, which is a film broadcast on Canal+ Sport, to the film Memorial of Wojtek Kozub, made by Piotr Wancerz and Maciej Bieńkowski.
Festival audiences from all three cities took part in voting as part of the Audience Competition. The best film was Lost (dir. Anthony Geffen). The winner received almost twice as many votes as the second on the list Sztuka Wolności (directed by Marek Kłosowicz, Wojciech Słota). The third place went to Breath (dir. Martin Khodabakhshian).
