On 13 January, the luxury ship Costa Concordia crashed off the coast of Tuscany. Since then we have informed our readers many times about the further fate of the wreck. Today we have an interesting animation for all those interested, showing how to remove fuel from such a huge vessel.
When the ship ran aground on the rocky coastline, there were 4229 passengers on board the Costa Concordia, from 60 countries. The chaos surrounding the evacuation operation was enormous and the search and rescue operation was hampered by the size of the vessel.
The Concordia, which had 17 decks, was one of the most famous maritime disasters in recent years. The circumstances of the wreck and incidents such as the theft of the ship’s bell caused a lot of noise.
