Rebreather X-CCR also available in white

IQ Sub brand, manufacturer of the X-CCR rebreather, has announced through its official channels that this extremely popular unit will now also be available in white. The launch of the X-CCR White version is a response to suggestions and requests from users who dive every day in hot climate zones.

Although it may seem so to many, the change is not purely aesthetic and is not an attempt to follow the trend that has been visible in the diving equipment market for a good few years now, where design and colours are as important as reliability and functionality.

On the contrary! A version made of white derlin was created at the special request of X-CCR sales representatives from France, Italy and Monaco. The manufacturer, listening to the voices of users, informed that X-CCR White, is a version created with a view to technical divers, who usually operate in very warm regions.

The unit, made in white, absorbs the sun’s rays much less, which is expected to improve its functionality in harsh conditions and during prolonged exposure to the sun.

And aesthetics is the way to go. Probably, as in any similar case, when equipment is available in different colour variants, it will find its buyers precisely because of this particular feature. The X-CCR units are now available in 3 variants – standard black with blue details, an all-black version designed for the military market and the new White version.
