In times of danger solidarity and support are the key elements to survive. SANTI Diving employees know it very well, and as part of a charity action they decided to support Pomeranian hospitals by sewing protective masks.

SANTI Diving, a company that produces divers’ wetsuits on a daily basis, in mid-March allocated some of its production capacity to sewing two types of protective masks. After receiving specialist material from the Pomeranian Hospitals group and determining the necessary requirements, 1400 three-layer masks were sewn from medical fleece. On 30.03. the masks were handed over to the Szpitalale Pomorskie Group in Gdynia Redłowo.

Masks made of medical mesh were today delivered to the front line against the virus, where the situation is most severe and where they are an absolutely key piece of equipment for medical staff.

In the first weeks of March, SANTI employees also began sewing protective masks, the production of which has now involved the whole of Poland. “The attitude of our employees fills us with pride. Our production and machine park is located in Gdynia. The decision taken years ago, motivated by the possibility of conducting quality control at every stage of creating a diving suit, has become even more important in the current crisis. When the situation in Poland started to deteriorate we could immediately join the socially responsible business action,” says Tomasz Stachura, the founder of SANTI Diving.
