Today we can all feast our eyes together on what the project organisers have achieved, all thanks to a photographic exhibition held on 15 May.

“The University of Warsaw Museum, the Polish Branch of The Explorers Club and the Historical Museum of the City of Warsaw are honoured to invite you to the official opening of the exhibition “Rescued from the Deluge, Vistula 1655-1906-2009-Interdisciplinary research of the river bed”. The entire project is being carried out under the honorary patronage of JM Rector of the University of Warsaw Prof. Marcin Pałys.”

The vernissage of Marzena Hmielewicz’s and Marcin Jamkowski’s photographs will take place on 15 May at 3 p.m. in the building of the Old Library of the University of Warsaw, located at 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.

All fans of underwater archaeology, history and photography are warmly invited to visit! This is a unique chance to get to know some of the research material collected over the last years.
