In the near future, the weekend of 19th – 20th September, an interesting event dedicated to divers will take place – GUE Community Day. The event is organised by Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) – an organisation which trains and certifies divers and has a global character.

This will be the first time in GUE’s history that divers from around the world have come together on the same weekend to celebrate their passion for diving and exploring the underwater world. As it is written on the organisation’s website, in order to take part in the event, it does not matter what continent, country or specific location you are currently in. All that matters is diving and the desire to participate.

GUE Community Day is intended to be a kind of unifying response for divers affiliated with Global Underwater Explorers, demonstrating that despite adversity and all the setbacks that 2020 has brought, the diving community is still full of passion and enthusiasm.

It doesn’t matter the location, all that matters is the passion for diving…

GUE encourages all its members to organise their own events as part of Community Day 2020. These can be dives, meetings, presentations and various side events. It is important that they take place on the scheduled date and unite the diving community in a common goal.

Global Underwater Explorers also encourages people to share photos and videos captured at local events by tagging them with the hashtag #GUEUnityDay2020 and tagging the organisation’s official social media profile @GUEhq.
