The Underwater World Cleanup in Zielonka is one of the jubilee events celebrating the 20th cleanup in Poland. On 22 September, in the Zielonka mudflats we will plant a Tree of the Twenty Years of the Clean Up the World – Poland. It will be a Nitrox Oak. A living monument and a symbol of divers’ commitment to caring for the environment. The weather promises to be good, and so does the team! We cordially invite you to participate.

As every year, the Exploring Sub-Warsaw Diving Group joins the CLEAN UP THE WORLD action! This year we will clean up the Glinianki in Zielonka.

The plan is to clean the bottom, the shoreline and the green areas surrounding the reservoirs, so we are inviting all divers from Warsaw and the surrounding area as well as many surface supporters. We are joined in our action by anglers, scouts, firefighters and the Town Hall of Zielonka.

There will of course be a raffle for participants and a good atmosphere!

We meet on Sunday at 10am in the car park here – after a briefing and splitting into groups we will start the action.

Framework for the event:

10:00 – collection of participants / start of registration

10:15 – official welcome / briefing / division into groups

10:30 – beginning of cleaning / clarification of diving equipment

14:30 – official summary of the clean-up and distribution of gifts from sponsors

About the cops:

The maximum depth is 4-5 metres. In spring, in one of the clay ponds visibility was up to 8 metres! Beautiful littoral, countless crayfish and only 20 km from the centre of Warsaw.
