On 17th December, in the Museum of Technology in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, the first meeting of the Exploring Podwarszawskie Diving Group took place. There were nearly 50 people interested in diving in areas near Warsaw. The atmosphere was great and the presentations very interesting.

Kamil Jaczyński talked about the GEPN missionHe summarized the year 2011, talked about the diving sites he visited, and presented his plans for the beginning of 2012. Paweł Żochowski prepared an account of diving in the water channel – the Museum of Old-Polish Zagłębie in Siepla. In turn, Michał Winek showed a presentation from diving in the mysterious Warsaw metro. No less interesting was the presentation of Michał Gorzelak, who talked about diving in Pruszków Combined Heat and Power Plant.

This was the first, but as the organizers assure – not the last, meeting of Warsaw divers. From our side, we wish you further success and unending enthusiasm, and we assure our readers that you will read more about the projects carried out by GEPN in our pages.
