On 5-6 February, the second edition of the diving fair “Podwodna przygoda” will be held. The event will be held in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
The first diving fair and the accompanying Nurgres, a conference for divers, took place in January 2010. They were visited by over 2000 people, more than 90% of whom were divers and instructors.
The event itself was very positively received. “When, in January 2009, we were in Dusseldorf with a group of divers and instructors, in a huge hall full of equipment, offers of trips, even opticians’ stands with corrective masks, joy mixed with slight anger – why do we have to go to the Dutch border to see something that could also be here? Then the decision was ripe to do everything possible and organise a real diving fair in Poland.” – says Maksymilian Allweil, the organiser of the fair.
This year, the organisers will have more space for exhibitors, and a larger room in which to hold the Nurgres lectures. Currently 6 speakers are already confirmed:
Agata BoguszSport Diver Instructor PSAI. The first and only Polish AIDA freediving instructor and apnea diving instructor of Umberto Pelizzari’s Apnea Academy. She holds four Polish records to her credit:
