After a long 7 years of preparation, the USS Kittiwake a former submarine salvage vessel, rested on the bottom at Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman Island. Luckily for the divers, the wreck managed to be planted perfectly on the keel, which will make navigation during the dive easier. The wreck is 76 metres long and has 5 decks so there is plenty to explore. The USS Kittiwake became the newest artificial reef in the Caribbean Sea when she was sunk.

YouTube videos of the ship’s meltdown and the first dive quickly appeared.
