Diving equipment. How much does it cost?

Diving is an extremely interesting sport, which allows you to look at the world from a completely different perspective and delight in the beauty of the underwater landscape. Beginning divers usually use the services of instructors and equipment rental companies. However, in case of more regular trainings, many of them decide to buy their own accessories. How much does such equipment cost?

Professional diving equipment should provide not only comfort, but also safety during underwater escapades. Professional diving equipment consists of several essential accessories.

The absolute basis is the so-called ABC set, i.e. flippers, mask and a tube. Without these accessories you cannot perform even the simplest exercises and manoeuvres underwater. Admittedly, the cheapest sets can be bought for about 400-500 PLN. Unfortunately, the quality of such equipment often leaves much to be desired. Therefore it is worth to bet on a better quality ABC set which costs about 1000-1200 zł.

Completing the necessary equipment will not do without buying a wetsuit and a wing. A well-fitted wetsuit will not only make swimming more comfortable, but will also prevent rapid heat loss underwater. In turn, the wing improves buoyancy and allows you to easily mount a diving cylinder. And while we’re on the subject of cylinders – it would be hard to imagine staying underwater for a longer period of time without additional air. That is why the cylinder is also included in the list of indispensable equipment for divers. How much will we pay for it?

– The cheapest diving wetsuits cost 600-700 PLN, while models with better parameters are already an expense of 1200-1800 PLN.
– A wing is a much more serious investment, as the cheapest models cost 1100-1300 PLN, and more expensive ones around 2500-3000 PLN.
– A small diving cylinder for those diving at small depths is an expense of around 400-600 PLN. However, in the case of deeper technical diving, it is necessary to purchase a cylinder which may cost even 1500 zł.

The diver should also be equipped with:

Professional diving equipment should provide not only comfort, but also safety during underwater escapades. Professional diving equipment consists of several essential accessories.

“The diver should also be equipped with a breathing machine with a mouthpiece. This is what allows you to draw air from the cylinder, which in turn allows you to breathe underwater. Hygienic considerations also come into play here – every diving enthusiast should own such a device, even though it definitely does not belong to the cheapest ones and you have to reckon with the necessity of spending around 2000-3000 PLN.

A dive computer or depth indicator completes the shopping list. It is absolutely essential equipment allowing you to constantly control your position and depth. While the simplest indicators cost 600-800 PLN, for more expensive and more advanced computers we can pay even 3000-5000 PLN.

How to finance the purchase of diving equipment?

A quick calculation shows that the cheapest set of diving accessories is an expense of around 5000-6000 PLN. However, such equipment will often differ in quality from the professional equipment. So if a diver wants to purchase professional accessories, then the cost of such an investment will be even 12000-15000 zł.

The quoted amount can be a serious barrier for many people. Therefore, it is worth considering in advance how to finance the purchase of such equipment. One of the solutions is to resign from the formula of a single expense and buy individual pieces of equipment separately. Unfortunately, then completing the necessary accessories will take much longer. An alternative way may be to use non-bank loans, which can be applied for online without too many formalities, such as chwilówki na sowafinansowa.pl. Of course, in this case it is necessary to remember about paying the obligation on time and choose a method of repayment which will not overburden our budget.
