On Saturday, December 7, Cyprus will be enriched by another diving attraction! Tomorrow the MV “Elipda” will set off on its last voyage, targeting a previously prepared piece of seabed near Larnaka.

The new wreck will expand the list of underwater attractions of Cyprus and will certainly become the reason for the visit of many divers from Europe and all over the world. “Elipda” has been cleaned and prepared so that it does not pose a threat to the local fauna and flora, but also so that the exploration of its interior does not pose any problems.

Wherever important and interesting things related to diving happen, the DIVERS24 team cannot of course be missing! That is why we will also be on site tomorrow to watch the sinking of the ship live.

The sinking of the MV “Elipda”, is another example of actions that not only stimulate the development of the local economy, but also become a stimulus for the underwater ecosystem. Such a large object will be adapted by fauna and flora, becoming a real epicentre of marine life.
