Shearwater has released a software update for the Petrel 3, Perdix 2 and Terric dive computers – Firmware V95.

Computer manufacturer Shearwater has announced the availability of the latest software update for Petrel 3, Perdix 2 (V95) and Terric (v23) computers.

Due to hardware differences, not all features are available on all models.

Firmware V95 contains improvements and fixes and the update is recommended for all users of the Perdix 2 and Petrel 3 models, while the V23 update is required for all Teric users.

Firmware V95 includes the following changes:

  • Fixes a display problem when “MINI” or “NDL” is selected for the “NDL Display” setting .

The full list of changes is available here here.

Firmware V23 includes the following changes:

  • Fixed a problem with the display of the Air Integration (AI) information line when the only AI transmitter enabled was T4, instead of it incorrectly displayed T3 transmitter.
  • Fixed an issue where the AI serial number was recorded in the dive log with the wrong byte order.

The full list of changes is available here.
