Dive Demo Days 2017! What awaits us at the Hancza River?

On 12-15 August 2017 another event conducted under the banner of Diving Demo Days will take place. This time, divers from all over Poland will flock to the cult dive site, which undoubtedly are the waters of Lake Hancza.

The event will be hosted by the legendary and well-known Banana Divers base. Whoever has been a guest of “Banana” knows that their offer is of the highest standard and nothing will be missing.

Of course, since this is a Demo Days event, equipment testing will be the main attraction! Visiting the deepest lake in Poland, you will have the opportunity to take under water equipment of such brands as:

SANTI Diving – wetsuits, warmers, heating systems
HALCYON – wings, torches, diving accessories
X-CCR – reabrechers
SUEX – underwater scooters
Ammonite System – diving lights and batteries for heating
JJ-CCR – rebreather

Of course, being at the Banana Divers base, it would be a sin not to make use of their lecture hall and available teaching aids. That is why the organisers have planned a very interesting and practical panel of lectures. Speakers will include:

Tomasz Stachura – SANTI, leader of the SANTI expedition to find the Eagle. For over 30 years, he has been a wreck diver and underwater photographer. During his lecture he will present the topic: “ORP Orzeł – latest findings”.

Bretislav Vaisar – iQsub Technologies. Our southerner and a character that needs no introduction. He is associated with such brands as Hammer Head or X-CCR.

Marcin Bramson – owner of Deep Adventure school, diver since 1999. Extremely active diving instructor. His domain are training courses conducted on closed circuits. He is the first IANTD X-CCR Instructor Trainer in Poland.

Łukasz Piórewicz – a lifelong instructor associated with the family company – the Diving Technology Centre Gdynia. He has been diving since 1987. An extremely expressive figure both on the surface and underwater. The first technical diving instructor in the Tri-City.

Michal Kosut – PADI regional manager. With diving and the diving industry associated throughout his life. He started his underwater adventure at the age of 16. During this time, he was associated, among others, with DAN Europe and the Witek Smilowski Diving Instructor School, which he owns.

During Dive Demo Days 2017 he will present the topic: “UHMS (Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society) guidelines for the management of the unconscious diver”.

Aleksander Chodakowski – diver, co-founder of Ammonite System, a company which has been producing lighting systems for divers for 5 years.

Clemens Schützenhofer – has been diving since 2003, DPV instructor and Suex trainer.

We cordially invite all divers to the Hancza. It will certainly be interesting and there will be plenty of good company. And for a diving trip to be successful, you don’t need much more!
