BCD Halcyon Explorer - bag under twinset

The Halcyon wing is a complete buoyancy system, designed for swimming in a two-boat set, with optional use of side cylinders (stage). It consists of a bag with an integrated inflatable and a release valve (so called flush) and a steel plate with a harness.

The bag has a horseshoe shape and is double-layered. It is made of cordura of high weight, which is characterized by high resistance to damage and abrasion. Depending on the capacity of our twinset, we are able to choose for ourselves a bag with the appropriate capacity of 40lbs – 2x12l, 55lbs – 2x15l, 70lbs – 2x18l and 2x20l.

The plate is standard and we can use it universally for wings of various capacity, also those prepared for diving with one cylinder, e.g. in eclipse or infiniti set. This allows you to have one plate with harness and several bags, which saves you some money.

As for the harness, it is offered in two variants. The first one is the standard version, where we adjust it to our needs and if we have done it right, this subject does not occupy our minds any more. The second solution is the new “cinch quick adjust” system, which allows for much greater adjustment before and after the dive, making it significantly easier to put on and take off the set. Also, the plate for our wing is offered in 2 variants: heavier – steel and lighter – aluminium.

The Halcyon Explorer is a very popular buoyancy control system and is available in almost every shop in our country. Depending on the variant we choose, its price is between 1630-2100 PLN.
