Do you still remember A diving remake of “Bohemian Rhapsody” made by members of the PADI Master Divers diving centre in Koh Tao, Thailand? Well, as it usually happens, one stone drags an avalanche and we are pleased to present you with another music video from the underwater world – The Tank Bangers in the song “Our Blue”.

While the 1975 reworking of Queen’s hit song was completed in a single dive, it took them 10 months to complete ‘Our Blue’, with 1800 dives and several million shots! The professional approach resulted in the song being announced for release on iTunes, Cdbaby and Amazon.

Proceeds raised from the sale of the piece, will go to underwater conservation and protection groups and Cancer Research UK, dedicated to fighting cancer because, as the authors of the piece say, “people should be cared for too”.

More recordings are in the pipeline, and as The Tank Bangers assure us, their vision is very clear and straightforward – through their work they want to: promote, inspire and educate, so that there is a greater sense of unity between divers around the world, and that the call for help and a proper approach to protecting the underwater world is heard.
