15 years in the hunt for a submarine
Listen to this article

A group of divers from Finland have been searching for a German submarine for 15 years. By traversing the surface of the Baltic Sea, and combing its depths with sonar, they satisfied their need to find the U-Boot more than they could have anticipated.

As a result of their work, they managed to find and start exploring not one, not two, but three submarines! In addition to the two Kriegsmarine U-Boats, they managed to come across the wreck of one Soviet submarine.

The wrecks have never been tracked before, let alone explored or researched in any way. All the vessels resting on the bottom, took with them about 50 crew members each. So far, the location of the wrecks remains a mystery.

Below is footage announcing an hour-long film that will explore the entire exploration. Premiere in January 2013!
