Recently we received information about an interesting project called “Project Porpoise 2013″. The organisers asked us to help them promote the “Porpoise” and encourage as many young people as possible to participate.

What exactly is “Porpoise 2013”? It is a summer educational camp for young people, where middle and high school students from all over the country will learn about ecology, marine biology and oceanography in general. The whole undertaking is a non-profit creation.

The planned date of the camp is summer 2013. The place – the Baltic Sea. The project is addressed to lovers of the sea and marine life. All camp activities will be conducted by specialists and will be focused on learning in a pleasant atmosphere. Instead of pumping knowledge in school classes, there will be adventure, fun and pleasant spending of time.

As the organisers themselves write, “We want every participant to have fond memories of the camp, while at the same time taking away specific oceanographic knowledge”.
