Winter is cancelled! - New electric heating from Santi

Electric heating systems for dry suits, which not so long ago still aroused wonder and curiosity, today are becoming increasingly popular, and the number of models available on the market is constantly growing.

With the diving season coming to an end, a campaign has been launched under the slogan “Winter is not coming – winter cancelled” to promote a series of new Santi branded thermal comfort products.

Today, by purchasing from one of Santi’s dealers, we can buy the already well-known heating waistcoat, thermocouple or thermoconnector, but also, announced for some time already, the first electrically heated warmer and heating gloves.

All these elements are available separately or in specially prepared sets. By choosing one of the 6 variants prepared for us by Santi company, we can save even 400 PLN!

Electricity in combination with water can cause justified fears for many users, so it is worth taking advantage of the experience of others. As assured by the manufacturer, the equipment described by us is not only safe and will work properly even if our dryer is flooded by water, but it also has the most effective power consumption in relation to the temperature obtained.

The Santi team used heating cables covered with an extremely elestic silicone lagging to protect it from deforming, cutting or breaking. Regardless of the product, the heating cable is laid out to warm the diver’s body as best as possible, maintaining full thermal comfort but not leading to overheating.

In addition, the power cable is thermally insulated and a thermal fuse protects against the unwanted effects of overheating and excessive voltage.

All the products described have been tried and tested during the Mars expedition in Sweden, the record-breaking (50h) dive in Italy or the Santi expedition to the frosty Lake Baikal.
