Wavy is a device and software designed to increase diver safety underwater. It is distinguished not only by a wireless location system, but also by a strong emphasis on the pleasure of diving. With Wavy you can safely explore the underwater world and share your impressions with your loved ones.
Our device sends a signal from the diver below the surface to the buoy, which calculates his position in real time. The buoy is also responsible for sending the diver ‘s position to a person using a smartphone on the surface. The collected data goes to a mobile application where we can see the diver ‘s position in real time.
On the Wavy mobile app, divers will be able to find the best dive site for them, view their underwater adventures, add photos and videos, and share them with family and friends. During an emergency, the diver will be able to send an SOS signal from the transmitter to the mobile app. If the diver does not change position for one minute, the app will show a warning of potential danger.
The team consists of 6 people: Damian and Jakub responsible for the vision of the Wavy project. Michał, Marcin and Łukasz who develop the software for the system. And Radek, who creates electronic solutions.
We launched Wavy crowdfunding campaign. We decided to take this step because we need funds to create a fully functional prototype of the device. We also want to produce several pilot units of our system. We are aiming for an amount of PLN 100k, which will help us achieve these goals.

The main goal that the team wants to achieve with the Wavy crowdfunding campaign is to complete a prototype underwater communication that will allow us to locate divers underwater. In order to do this, it is necessary to purchase the appropriate electronic modules and measuring equipment.
In addition, we want to create an IP protection strategy and regulate the copyright of our application. Another very important step for us will be creating a prototype of a waterproof housingwhich will allow us to secure our device. Once the prototype is complete, we want to carry out testing our system with divers.
