This Saturday, December 4, there will be a unique auction of retro diving equipment. The event will take place online and Nation’s Attic Inc is responsible for organising it.

If you love diving and history, then surely the event organised by Nation’s Attic Inc. is something for you. During the auction you will be able to purchase many unique items related to the history of diving. Among the objects put up for auction, there are various items diving equipmentthat have shaped our beloved passion over the past decades.

Antique diving equipment The auction will start with the bidding of equipment from the early days of sport diving. Items up for bid include the first US Divers double hose vending machines from the early 1950s, while photography enthusiasts can compete for a rare case for the Tarzan camera There are also many items from the 1950s and hard-to-find manuals, catalogues, posters and much more. Certainly the real highlight of this part of the auction will be Zodiac Super Sea Wolf dive watch. Still new and in original box!

antique underwater housing A separate category consists of items related to military diving. These include special operations manuals, badges, books, diving knives and other memorabilia. And wreck-related artifacts such as unique ship lights, a telegraph, a solid brass steering wheel and other unique items seen on historic ships and vessels.

The second half of the auction will focus on deep-sea diving equipment . The most popular items in this category are, of course, diving helmets. Headlined by the legendary US Navy Mark V made by Morse Diving Equipment and A. Schrader’s Son Company. Also appearing will be the highly coveted US Navy Mark V helium helmet, made by Diving Equipment and Supply Company, originally sent to the USS Brunswick. Rounding out the stakes will be commercial diving helmets from Craftsweld, A.J. Morse & Son, Siebe Gorman, Heinke, Yokohama, Snead, Swindell, Miller and Kirby Morgan and many others.
