The athlete from Bielsko-Biała confirmed that she is in very good shape. Both on Sunday, 1 May, and Monday, 2 May, she was unrivalled, which translated into two world records.

Yesterday, the Pole covered a distance of 207 metres in the Dynamic Apnea Without Fins – DNF. Thus, she improved her own record from 2017, when she achieved a distance of 191 metres in Opole, and also beat the world record of Croatian Mirela Kardasevic by one metre. It is worth noting on this occasion that there are only a few athletes in the world among men who can boast a better result.

A day later, Magdalena Solich-Talanda did not intend to rest on her laurels and once again showed what she is capable of. This time, she covered the distance of 243 metres in the Dynamic Apnea With Bifins – DYN Bifins. This amazing result allowed her to improve another world record held by Mirela Kardasevic by as much as 35 metres!

For both records to be officially recognised, only the formalities of anti-doping texts remained to be fulfilled.

Let us remind you that less than a month ago, On 10 April, Magdalena Solich-Talanda set a world record in the dynamic swimming in fins competition – DYN. Freediver during the Bluego MiniComp competition held in Łódź achieved a result of 277 metres.

The Pole is in excellent form and a little over a month before the CMAS World Championships she has sent a clear signal about what goals she intends to fight for in Belgrade. The tournament in Serbia promises to be extremely exciting and looking at the form of Polish competitors, appetites are huge.
