A 1:1 scale model of a donkey, complete with a wry hat, has turned up unexpectedly. No one knows where it came from or how old the figure is, but the video shows that it certainly didn’t hit the seabed yesterday. Numerous crustaceans and plants have already found homes in the hollows.
Vitaly Bazarov recalls that when he encountered the statue while diving with friends, the most “out of place” seemed to be the hat, which certainly has a slightly shorter history than the statue itself.
Vitaly also spotted a fish, which we can see in the film, hidden literally under the tail of a grotesque donkey.
