The 2020 diving float along the Słupia River will start tomorrow!

This Sunday, on 13 September, another edition of the Słupia river diving trip will take place! The event is based on extremely simple rules and literally anyone can take part in it.

Participants will cover the s route using any wetsuit that provides buoyancy, adequate thermals and of course safety. In addition you should bring along your diving ABC to complete your wardrobe for Sunday afternoon.

Those who take part in the rafting, apart from having fun, will also focus on getting rid of as many elements from the river as possible, which should not be found in it. We are talking about all sorts of litter that pollute the Słupia River and adversely affect the local fauna and flora.

However, the canoeing rally is also an opportunity to have fun with the whole family, without limits and age restrictions, without the need to enter the water. Those who decide to stay on the bank, apart from cheering the participants on, will be able to take part in many attractions and games prepared by the event organiser.

In 2019, interest in the float exceeded the organisers’ wildest expectations, as there were 250 cleaners alone and a total of around 350 participants. This also translated into a fantastic result of 1.5 tonnes of rubbish being extracted from the river.

The hopes for this year’s edition are high, but this should not surprise anyone, after all, to beat the result of such a successful edition as last year’s, you will have to try hard!
