In order to explain a bit more clearly what this is all about, we will give you a brief overview of the competition. There were 5 teams competing, each consisting of 3 competitors. The route was set around the wreck of the latest diving attraction in the Cayman Islands – the USS Kittiewake, about the sinking of which we informed you some time ago. The course was determined by 10 gates spaced at a distance of 100m, through which you had to swim in a slalom. Each competitor had two attempts and the faster time was taken into account in the overall ranking. The team with the best overall time, which was the sum of the times of all the team members, won. All teams used Dive Xtras Cuda scooters.

On the first day of the competition, the best team was Gold Fusion, followed by Hell’s Angelsifh in silver and Scootin’ Uni in purple, the fourth place went to Liquid Machine in blue and XLRacers in green.

Day 1:

  1. 1st Gilded – Gold Fusion – 10 Points
  2. 2nd Silver – Hell’s Anglefish -8 Points
  3. 3rd Violets – Scootin Uni’s – 6 Points
  4. 4th Blue – Liquid Machine – 4 Points
  5. 5th Greens – XLRacers – 2 Points

In the end, however, after two days of struggle in the general classification, the gold and violet teams swapped places and the latter became the winners of the whole competition.

Day 2:

  1. 1st Violets – Scootin Uni’s – 16 Points
  2. 2nd Silver – Hell’s Anglefish – 16 Points
  3. 3rd Goldens – Gold Fusion – 14 Points
  4. 4th Blue – Liquid Machine – 10 Points
  5. 5th Greens – XLRacers – 4 Points
