However, tourists should still avoid major urban centres such as Cairo, Alexandria and Suez. It is also discouraged to participate in optional, individual and group excursions outside tourist centres. Polish citizens are still advised to exercise extreme caution.
It seems that after the resignation of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the situation is beginning to return to normal and divers will be able to continue to enjoy diving in the waters of the Red Sea.
