A very interesting initiative came up (once again) from the Exploring Podwarszawskie Diving Group. The GEPN team decided to organize a pike hunt! But to make sure that no harm comes to the king of Polish lakes, the only weapons allowed are cameras of all kinds.

The action is scheduled for 9.00 am on Sunday 24 June. The assembly point is the place at Mammoth Lake by the Garwolin bypass. The depth of the reservoir reaches 15 metres, so everyone from OWD upwards is welcome. The lake is characterised by variable visibility, reaching several metres at the best moments, and a beautiful littoral inhabited by a large pike population!

Note: Coming from Warsaw, take exit 76 from the ring road, before the exit there will be signposts to Wilga. Once there, head towards Garwolin (not Wilga!), cross over the ring road, immediately after the viaduct turn right and follow the service road along the ring road. When you get to the next viaduct, enter it, cross the ring road again, immediately after the viaduct turn left and the asphalt will lead you to the lake.
