Today marks one year since Robert Klein left us. On 22 September 2011, Robert lost his life in an unfortunate accident in the French cave of Saint-Sauver. It all happened during a caving course he was leading as an instructor.

Robert was one of Poland’s best cave divers and an instructor who trained hundreds of divers. Among those who had the opportunity to meet him, he will always be remembered as a true enthusiast and someone special.

In addition to diving, for nearly two decades, he was also involved in translating various texts. In his “second” environment, he was considered a talented professional, and this description fit him like a glove, whatever he was doing at the moment.

Although he has been gone from us for a year, his memory still lives on among those he came into contact with, and among all those who continue to draw on his experience. Rest in peace.
