New speakers at "Nurgres 2011"

The list of speakers who will give lectures at the upcoming diving fair “Podwodna Przygoda” is slowly filling up. The list of speakers who will give lectures at the upcoming diving fair “Podwodna Przygoda” is slowly filling up.

On Saturday 5 February, in the afternoon, as part of the accompanying Nurgres, there will be a presentation of the expedition to the wreck of the ORP Grom. A group of Polish divers from the Globe Diving Club association, on the 70th anniversary of the sinking of the Polish destroyer ORP Grom, performed a series of dives on the wreck of this historic ship.

These dives were the start of Project Grom, planned for two years, to create extensive documentation of this little explored wreck lying at a depth of 105m near Narvik. The Project is co-organised by the Naval Academy. Participating in the dives were: Radosław Bizoń – Globe Diving Club, Marek Klyta – Globe Diving Club, Roman Młodożeniec – Diver24, Adam Pawlik – Globe Diving Club, Grzegorz Rutkowski – Globe Diving Club, Krzysztof Starnawski – guest diver.

“We would like to present to you the materials we have brought with us, and share the experiences we have gained. During the lecture there will be a premiere screening of the film ORP Grom.” – they add.

joomplu:905Kamil Jaczyński, Publicist, specialist in public relations and music marketing. Winner of the Nurality competition organised during the first edition of the Diving Fair “Podwodna Przygoda”. Currently, he is cooperating in the organization of the second edition of the Diving Fair.
It will introduce the subject “Nurality 2010, or how I became a diver”.

joomplu:907Marcin Jamkowski, Polish journalist, traveller, photographer and filmmaker. Graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. In the years 2000-2006 connected with National Geographic Poland. He also managed the Polish edition of the bimonthly “National Geographic Traveler”. He took part in climbing expeditions to Africa (Morocco, Mali, Madagascar) and a trip to the sources of the Amazon River in Peru. He also took part in investigations of the sunken wreck of the ferry Estonia and underwater ruins of the Greek town Nymphaion in Crimea. In 2004, he led an international expedition to the Steuben shipwreck. He is a member of The Explorers Club.
It will introduce the subject “Ghosts from the depths of the Baltic. Steuben, Gustloff, Goya”.

joomplu:908Patryk Krzyżak, KDP/CMAS club doctor, diver associated with the Big Blue magazine.
He will present the topic “Medical aspects of holiday diving”

Małgorzata Popienia, editor-in-chief of the Big Blue magazine. She will present the topic “Dangerous animals underwater – rules of behaviour and conduct”.

joomplu:906Małgorzata Raj, PADI diving instructor, specialises in training children. Effectively combines youthful enthusiasm and professional diving education. He has been diving since the age of 7. She loves water and travelling. For many years, family associated with the diving environment, where she actively pursues her sports passions and interests. Former member of the swimming section of WKS Flota and AZS. She has won many swimming and diving competitions.
It will introduce the subject “Diving children.

joomplu:902Dariusz SepiołoHe is one of the world’s leading photographers specialising in underwater photography. For years, he has been travelling around the world without parting with his camera. His adventure with diving started a few years ago and quickly turned into a great passion. He has spent over 1500 hours underwater, visiting the world’s most beautiful dive sites and capturing extraordinary images of underwater life.

He has won prestigious photography competitions, including in Moscow, Singapore, New York and National Geographic, and is co-founder of the diving magazine “The Big Blue” and owner of the travel agency Dive Away, which organises underwater expeditions.
He will present the topic “The best dive sites for recreational diving”.
