New information on upcoming film productions from Divers Guide

We would like to present you another interesting project implemented by Divers Guide – the biggest search engine of diving sites and bases. Divers Guide also produces documentary films about diving, in which the Divers Guide team presents the profiles of divers from various parts of the world. Diving together with them, in places they value, they present their world and passion.

The first episode of the ten episode series, which premiered at this year’s Baltictech, is called “UNDER”. It presents the profiles of such divers as Leigh Cunningham, Marcin “Chochor” Chochorowski and Mostafa Fathi. The film was shot in the most important diving sites in Egypt, such as : Dahab, Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam.

The first person invited to the documentary was Marcin “Chochor” Chochorowski, an interesting and colourful figure in Polish technical diving. When asked who he would see in a documentary filmed in Egypt, Marcin mentioned Leigh Cunningham without hesitation, which only strengthened the Divers Guide team’s conviction that Leigh must take part in their project.

Leigh Cunningham, is a legend of technical diving and a long-time resident of Egypt. His extraordinary personality and life, which he entirely devoted to his passion, as well as the number of diving projects in which he participated, made it possible for Divers Guide to present his profile in the documentary.

Divers Guide meet many unconventional personalities while recording their reports. This was also the case in Egypt, where they met Mostafa Fathy, an Egyptian co-owner of the 3Will base in Marsa Alam. Mostafa speaks perfect Polish and is a very open and positive person who infects with positive energy. Footage shot during the dives with Mostafa proved so interesting that it was decided to include it in the film.

The whole series consists of 10 episodes, of which 5 have already been prepared:

• Egypt with Leigh Cunningham, Marcin “Chochor” Chochorowski and Mostafa Fathy.
• Italy with Czarek Abramowski, Lorenzo dle Veneziano, Bruno Borelli and Pippo Giuseppe Pipiazza
• “Below” recorded in Malta & Gozo with Ela Benducka, Audrey Cudel and Tom Stainer
• “Cookies” recorded on Mallorca with Jacek Konikowski and Sergio Jimenez
• Croatia and Montenegro with Romek Hłobaż, Bobo Spaic, Veronika Ticha

The entire documentary will be broadcast on Polish television, which we will inform you about in the first quarter of 2016 on D24 and diversguide.eu
