New documentary series on Baltic Sea shipwrecks

Lovers of diving, Baltic shipwrecks and sunken history will be pleased to know that another documentary series is being made about shipwrecks and vessels resting at the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

Looking at the huge interest and popularity of the ten-episode documentary series Mysteries of Baltic Wrecks, which premiered at the end of 2018 on the Canal+ Discovery channel, it may not be a great surprise that the topic has been taken up again.

Especially that there are still a lot of extremely interesting and mysterious stories to tell, which are a great material for a story and a perfect excuse for non-divers to learn more about the beauty of the Baltic wrecks, their exploration and the need to take care of our underwater heritage.

The new series will not be a direct continuation of Secrets of the Baltic Wrecks, although Canal+ will be responsible for the production in cooperation with the Baltictech diving group.

The next adventure has just started! Since yesterday we started working on new episodes about wrecks in the Baltic Sea. We have already slightly forgotten how to dive in front of the cameras, but some skills will stay with us forever, so of course it was fun on the boat and safe underwater. We hope that next year you will be able to watch 8 episodes about unique wrecks and their incredible history,” reads the profile of the Baltictech group

From the information I managed to obtain I know that the list of wrecks to be presented in the new production is very interesting and each episode should provide great entertainment and an excellent source of information, both for divers and history enthusiasts.

So we can only wait patiently for the premiere of the new series, and in order not to make the time too long, I recommend repeating the Mysteries of the Baltic Wrecks and familiarising ourselves with many interesting Baltic wrecks described on our portal.
