The authors have chosen an interesting formula for their work. They intend to show the world of freediving from the perspective of 16 competitors, representing the strict elite of the sport. Their personal approach, experiences and what drives each of them to break new barriers in free diving and reach for new records.

Among the truly stellar (in terms of freediving achievements) cast we will find well-known names. Umberto Pelizzari, Enzo Maiorca, Guillaume Nery, Tanya Streeter, Natalia Molchanova, Alexey Molchanov, Davide Carrera, Andrea Zuccari, Ilaria Molinari, Christina Saenz de Santamaria, Eusebio Saenz de Santamaria, Stephane Mifsud and Lesley Rochat. This is the first project of its kind to bring together so many significant names for the discipline.
