International Techmeeting 2023 – be a part of a great event

On the last weekend of October we will meet in Slovakia to participate in the 22nd edition of the annual diving conference International Techmeeting 2023.

The International Techmeeting 2023t looks to be exceptionally interesting and is sure once again to attract many guests from all over the world. That is why in the following article we are publishing a handful of the most important information so that you can plan your stay in Slovakia.

International Techmeeting 2023 Speakers

The lineup of prominent figures in the diving world invited to present their lectures at Techmeeting is impressive. Among them there will be no shortage of extremely colorful figures and leading experts in their fields. Of course, this is an event addressed to technical divers and those wishing to develop in this direction, so the topic spectrum is strongly related to this.

This extremely interesting weekend, which will take place in Slovakia, will feature presentations and lectures by Phil Short, Edd Stockdale, David Čani, Martin Strmiska, David Skoumal, Ane Mengshoel, Arne Sieber, Mark Powell, Martin Dokulil, František Novomeský, Miroslav Rozložník, Veronika Rybárová and Andrej Gašpar.

Saturday

Techmeeting will start on Saturday morning, October 28, with registration of participants, which is scheduled for 8:00-9:00 AM. This will be followed by the official opening of the conference, and panels with lectures will begin from 9:30 AM. A lunch break is scheduled from 12:30-2:00 PM, followed by the rest of the lectures, which will last until 6:00 PM.

Valuable prizes

Immediately after the lectures, the organizers will carry out the thrilling and exhilarating prize drawing, which is an integral part of International Techmeeting every year. All prizes have been sponsored by the event’s partners and sponsors and are sure to make happy any diver to whom luck will smile during the drawing.

Main prizes include a Divesoft CCR Liberty sidemount rebreather, a SANTI Diving E.Lite+ dry suit and a DPV SUEX VR-X scooter. This, of course, is just a small part of the wide pool of prizes that will find their owners at this year’s Techmeeting.

To cool off after a great deal of excitement of this day and relax in excellent companionship, a huge party will be perfect. The Techmeeting Party is scheduled for 8 PM, with the end to be determined by each participant at his or her own choice.

Sunday

Although Saturday evening certainly looks very tempting, it is wise to save some energie, as the second day of the conference also shows a lot of excitement. As on Saturday, the organizers have scheduled the lectures from 9:30 AM to 6 PM with a one and a half hour break for lunch (12:30 PM to 2 PM).

Registration and tickets

If you would like to attend this extremely exciting event, simply fill in the registration form on the official Techmeeting website. Those who register by the 15th of October will get entry tickets for €90, while from the 16th of October the cost of attendance will be €120.
