Grasping the Depths - an innovative diving programme

Recently, there has been a lot of buzz in various media about a campaign under the intriguing name of “Conceive the Depths”. What is it and what does it actually concern? Well, “Pojąć Głębię” is an innovative therapeutic and rehabilitation diving programme strengthening the independence of disabled people. The Divers24 portal has joined the group of supporters of the project, and from our side we will try to help them achieve the best possible results.

“Comprehend the Deep” is a project that aims to strengthen independence, self-esteem and self-confidence in people with disabilities through rehabilitative and therapeutic diving.

Water provides many stimuli to the human senses including taste, touch, smell, movement, splashing and buoyancy. Water activities have great benefits in all areas of human life, influencing physical, social, cognitive and language development.

Water offers excellent conditions for various types of physical activity, therapy and rehabilitation of disabled people, who learn to control their breathing, their body, balance and mental adaptation during water activities.

“Comprehending the Depths” goes far beyond ordinary water activities and uses an innovative diving programme, thanks to which the rehabilitation and therapeutic effects in disabled participants are significantly increased.

The programme’s mission is to instil in people with disabilities the belief that the impossible is possible.
