Today we are going to tell you a little bit about the Northern Diver product – the Divemaster dry suit, which was used by Kamil Iwankiewicz to dive in the Himalayas at an altitude of 5400m.

On the manufacturer’s website, we can read that the Divemaster protects its user with a 4mm layer of hyper-compressed neoprene. Specially made material, provides comfort and freedom of movement, while ensuring thermal comfort.

As Northern Diver assures us, the name ‘hyper-compressed’ is not a marketing ploy, but the result of a production process using a 500 tonne heated press. This is necessary to achieve such high quality material.

A product of the English company, it features two very low profile valves, which is sure to appeal to many people. There are also zipped pockets as standard, stuck on both legs. The boots in this model are made of durable vulcanised rubber and are great for when you have a section to cover on foot.

Together with an appropriate insulator, the Divemaster wetsuit provides very good protection against the ambient temperature. In addition to the material itself, this is achieved by the special Ti-Ax Thermacote coating, which is a heat reflective system.

It is available in a very wide range of sizes including gender breakdown, but there is also the option of bespoke tailoring.
